EMINERS

ABOUT

EMINERS is globally recognized natural hot spring water that gushes out from Nara Kashihara.

Natural hot spring water with a high content of hydrogen carbonate ions.
Named by Kashihara Jingu Shrine, EMINERS is pure Kotohogi Onsen water.

The hot spring water is natural water from 240 meters underground and is rich in various minerals such as hydrogen carbonate ions and metasillicic acid as well as silica.

What are hydrogen carbonate ions?

Hydrogen carbonate ions is a type of natural mineral component contained in Kotohogi hot spring water and is a combination of hydrogen and carbonate ions contained in hydrogen carbonate spring, which is said to support beautiful skin. Hydrogen carbonate generally dissolves in water and plays an important role in the body.

Hydrogen carbonate ions are deeply involved in the metabolic activity of the body. We need oxygen to turn food into energy and blood in order to stay alive. Carbon dioxide is released from the body by breathing. Deeply involved in its metabolism, it plays an essential role in keeping blood from becoming acidic.

The human body is maintained at a weak alkaline level of 7.7pH, but when the amount of carbonate ions decreases, it becomes acidic. Normally, the balance of hydrogen carbonate concentration in the body are controlled by the kidneys and therefore it is not easily disturbed.
It is however important to understand that the body tends to become acidic when kidney function declines or after intense excercise.

When the body leans toward acidity, immunity decreases and can cause various diseases. In order to maintain a healthy body, it is important to drink mineral water containing hydrogen carbonate ions frequently.

Fine grains and amazing penetration

EMINERS natural hot spring water is drawn from a water vein 240m below Nara Kashihara. EMINERS is filled with natural minerals that have been naturally blended into it for hundreds of years. The particle size of the water in EMINERS is finer than tap water and it can be easily absorbed by the body.
The water that enters the cell is converted into urine and sweat, and leaves the body together with the old water, salts, waste products and toxins. The mildly alkalined water is perfect for those who emphasizes on health.

You can see the charm of EMINERS.

Experiment 1

EMINERS offers high penetration!

This is an experiment in which tea leaves are added to tap water and EMINERS natural hot spring water at room temperature. The mixtures are compared five minutes after the tea leaves are added.
You can see that EMINERS extracts more tea.
Because particles are finer than tap water and penetrate faster, making hot spring water ideal for making tea.

Experiment 2

The finer water particles mixes well!

Because the particles are very fine, they mix well with oil.
When oil is added to EMINERS natural hot spring water and shaken several dozen times, it fuses and becomes white and cloudy. On the other hand, if you do the same with tap water, it becomes slightly white and cloudy, but after a while the water and oil separate into two layers, and the whiteness gradually decreases. EMINERS remains white and muddy over time.
